If the thought of wedding dress shopping feels overwhelming, we don’t blame you - I mean there are THOUSANDS of gown options out there, with more and more options being released every year 😵💫.... But don’t you fret!! We believe there is a bridal shopping strategy that makes it a heck of a lot easier!
A little research/planning + an open mind = the sweet spot for finding your frock!
Spend some time thinking about your overall wedding vibe, your personal style and your budget. Visit different local stores’ website to see what designers they carry and decide which of those designers you like most. Then book an appointment at the top store or two that carry the designers you gravitate towards. Also, consider price range, atmosphere and other offerings when deciding which boutiques to book with. If you can, save a few styles that you like from your favorite designers to show your stylist. These gowns may not be “the one”, but they will help start your appointment off on the right track!
BUT please DO NOT exhaust yourself browsing online. Dresses look and feel incredibly different on each bride, and you never know what might shock you! I’ve suggested gowns that brides despise on the hanger, but fall madly in love with once they put it on - and vice versa.
