What’s with the name?

The Frock Bridal House

“How did you come up with the name?”

Hi, Madison here! I’m the owner and founder of The Frock, and I get this question ALLLL the time! And I actually love answering it 😊 Let me break it down for ya’ll!

  1. The Frock is an old English term for a garment or a gown. Growing up my Grammy and mom used old fashioned words and phrases all the time, mostly to just be fun and humorous, so that rubbed off on me and using an old fashioned, vintage term felt nostalgic. Plus, it was a little nod to my Grammy who share my love for all things bridal 🥰

  2. Our brand is about being fun, quirky, eclectic and vintage inspired. It’s only fitting that the name matches! We didn’t want the name to sound like your typical stuffy bridal store, because well, we are anything but typical and stuffy.

  3. ‘Frock’ is encompassing of both gowns and other garments. We are all about rocking a suit, jumpsuit, mini dress, cape, fringe jacket or whatever else you want on your wedding day! You do you, boo!

We cannot wait to help you “find your frock”!
